Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on madeintoasong.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

These terms apply to all customers, regardless of how they access our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Made Into A Song is operated by an individual business owner based in the United States. All transactions are processed in USD.

The Service

Made Into A Song creates custom, personalized songs based on information you provide. Each song is produced specifically for your order using AI-assisted music production tools guided by human creative direction.

We offer three service tiers:

• Standard ($49) — Custom original song, high-quality MP3, personal use license, delivered within 24 hours of story submission.
• Rush ($69) — Everything in Standard plus priority queue, delivered within 2 hours of story submission.
• Premium ($99) — Extended 4-minute song, studio stems file, full commercial use license, delivered within 48 hours of story submission.

Delivery times are targets, not guarantees. In the rare event of a technical issue or unusually high order volume, we will contact you proactively and deliver as quickly as possible.

Orders & Payment

All orders are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your payment information. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method for the selected service tier.

Your order is confirmed once:

1. Payment is successfully processed by Stripe.
2. You receive an order confirmation email.
3. You complete and submit the story form on the order confirmation page.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

Refund Policy

Before story submission: If you have paid but not yet submitted your story form, you may request a full refund by emailing hello@madeintoasong.com. We will process your refund within 3–5 business days.

After story submission: Once you submit your story and we begin production, your payment is non-refundable. This is standard across the custom song industry because:

• Your song is created exclusively for you and cannot be resold or reused.
• Significant time and resources are invested the moment production begins.

What we will do instead of a refund: If you are unhappy with your song for any reason, we will revise it — as many times as needed, within 30 days of delivery — for free. See the Revisions section below. Our goal is to deliver a song you love. We will not stop revising until that's the case.

Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue is a violation of these terms. We maintain complete records of all orders, communications, and deliveries. We will contest all chargebacks with full documentation.

Exceptions: If we fail to deliver your song within twice the stated delivery window (e.g., 48 hours for a Standard order) and you have not received any communication from us, you are entitled to a full refund upon request.

Revisions

We stand behind our work. Every order includes:

• Unlimited free revisions within 30 days of your song's delivery.
• Revisions cover: lyrics, phrasing, tone, genre style, and overall feel.
• Errors made by us — wrong name, wrong occasion, misinterpreted story detail — are corrected immediately, for free, with no conditions.

After 30 days: Revision requests after the 30-day window are handled case by case and may incur a fee of $15 per revision.

What revisions do not include: Revisions are for the song we created for your original order. If you want a completely different song for a different person or occasion, that is a new order.

Delivery

Your finished song is delivered as a high-quality MP3 file (minimum 320kbps) to the email address you provide at checkout. Lyrics are included in the delivery email body.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address. Made Into A Song is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect email addresses, full inboxes, or overzealous spam filters. If you don't receive your song within the delivery window, check your spam folder first, then contact us at hello@madeintoasong.com.

Premium tier orders also receive a studio stems file delivered as a ZIP archive alongside the MP3.

Ownership & Rights

Upon delivery and full payment, you are granted a license to use your song as follows:

Standard and Rush tiers — Personal Use License:

• Play, share, and gift the song privately.
• Post the song on personal social media accounts for non-commercial purposes.
• Play the song at private events (weddings, parties, celebrations).
• You may not sell the song, use it in paid advertising, or claim songwriting credit.

Premium tier — Commercial Use License:

• All rights included in Personal Use, plus:
• Use in commercial projects, advertisements, and monetized content.
• Upload to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
• Full ownership of the master recording for your commissioned song.

Made Into A Song retains the right to use anonymized, non-identifiable versions of songs as portfolio samples or product demonstrations, unless you request otherwise in writing at the time of order.

AI Disclosure

Made Into A Song uses AI-assisted music production tools — specifically Suno AI — to generate the audio component of your song. Lyrics are crafted using AI-assisted prompt engineering guided by human creative direction. Every song is reviewed and quality-checked by a human before delivery.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that your song is produced using these methods. If you have questions about our production process, contact us before ordering.

Your Content

By submitting your story, memories, and personal details through our order form, you grant Made Into A Song a limited license to use that content solely for the purpose of creating your song.

Your personal information is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than fulfilling your order. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You represent and warrant that:

• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right to share the stories and details you submit.
• Your submission does not violate any third party's rights.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order if the submitted content contains hate speech, illegal content, content that targets or harms minors, or content we determine is inappropriate at our sole discretion. A full refund will be issued in such cases.

Prohibited Use

You may not use our service to create songs that:

• Defame, harass, or threaten any individual or group.
• Contain or are intended to facilitate illegal activity.
• Target or exploit minors in any way.
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Are intended to deceive others in a harmful way.

Violation of these terms may result in cancellation of your order without a refund and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.

Limitation of Liability

Made Into A Song provides this service "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service.
• Emotional distress or dissatisfaction with the creative output, provided we have made reasonable efforts to revise the song to your satisfaction.
• Technical failures outside our control (email server outages, Stripe downtime, etc.).

Our total liability to you for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service will be resolved through good-faith communication first. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

By using our service, you waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit related to our service.
